Fernando Gago Resigns and Joins Boca Juniors

Fernando Gago resigned from Club Guadalajara midway through the tournament to join Boca Juniors as a coach in Argentina. His abrupt exit upset the Rebaño Sagrado, as he left the project after 10 months on the bench. Two weeks later, Fernando Beltrán expressed the discomfort that the Chivas players felt with Gago's departure, who had assured them that they would be champions.

Beltrán mentioned: "The issue with Gago was difficult, the team trusted him and we felt very committed to the coaching staff. We felt that our work was not valued." Beltrán also emphasized that all the players, regardless of their participation, supported Gago and his decisions both on and off the field.

In his debut with Boca Juniors, Fernando Gago suffered a 3-0 defeat against Tigre as a visitor, which was not the expected start. Despite this, Beltrán mentioned that the team responded positively to Gago and supported his decisions. Gago will lead his second match with Boca Juniors on October 23 against Gimnasia at La Bombonera in Buenos Aires.
